Benetone films are proud to release the first trailer for “Wishing for a Dream.” As per Variety, the Jared Cohn written/directed film was acquired by the company at the Cannes Film Festival.
Sarah Malakul Lane, who appears in the upcoming “Kickboxer” alongside Gina Carano, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Dave Bautista, plays an actress contending with an exhausting, capricious and challenging road to stardom. Gabriel Campisi, Judy Kim, and John Mehrer produce.
In addition to John Stockwell’s highly-anticipated remake of “Kickboxer,” Malakul Lane will also be seen in “Shark Lake” starring opposite action icon Dolph Lundgren.
“Wishing for a Dream” will release theatrically in Thailand, and on VOD in the US. The film is expected fourth quarter on both sides of the shore.
