Twenty One Pilots Set 2016 “EMØTIØNAL RØADSHØW” Tour

Fueled By Ramen recording group Twenty One Pilots will be returning to the U.S. this summer for a massive headline tour. The “EMØTIØNAL RØADSHØW” tour will see the band bringing their explosive live show to arenas and amphitheaters across the country and is set to kick off on May 31 st at Cincinnati, OH’s US Bank Arena. The summer-long trek includes the chart topping duo’s biggest headlining shows in North America to date and will culminate with a special performance at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on August 10 th (see attached itinerary). Tickets for all dates will go on sale Friday, October 30th with additional dates to be announced shortly. For complete details and more information please visit www.twentyonepilots.com/tour.

Twenty One Pilot’s current “Blurryface Tour” has proven to be a phenomenal success with all dates swiftly selling out. Highlights from the road have included a stunning two night stand at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom, capacity crowds at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater and Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre as well as a victorious homecoming performance at Columbus, OH’s Schottenstein Center. Furthermore, 2015 has also seen the duo of Tyler Joseph (vocals/piano) and Josh Dun (drums) performing top billed sets at Las Vegas, NV’s Life Is Beautiful, Austin, TX’s ACL Music Festival and Chicago, IL’s Lollapalooza where Rolling Stone declared the band to be among the “40 Best Things We Saw At Lollapalooza,” writing “(Twenty One Pilots) has succeeded as much as any band in recent history when it comes to over-inclusion. By trying on nearly everything in the pop-music spectrum (as well as nearly every form of headgear), (Tyler) Joseph and Josh Dun yielded huge, if unlikely, success.”

What’s more, the group recently performed “Tear In My Heart” at the 2015 MTV European Music Awards where they also received a nomination for “Best Alternative.” The monumental performance can be viewed below.

Meanwhile, following the massive success of their #2 Alternative radio smash “Tear In My Heart,” Twenty One Pilots’ new single “Stressed Out” is rapidly climbing the Alternative radio chart. The track which is currently #3 at Alternative Radio has earned more than 28 million streams thus far while its companion video – directed by the band’s longtime collaborators at Reel Bear Media (“Fairly Local,” “Lane Boy,” “Car Radio,” “Guns For Hands”) – has scored over 23 million views and counting at Twenty One Pilots’ official YouTube channel.

“BLURRYFACE” – which follows Twenty One Pilots’ 2013 Fueled By Ramen debut, “VESSEL” – made a stunning chart debut upon its arrival earlier this year, entering the SoundScan/Billboard 200 at #1 with total sales exceeding 147,000 and affirmed the duo as an international breakthrough, reaching the top 5 in Canada as well as the top 20 in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
