TCM To Remember Legendary Actor Rod Taylor On Jan. 29th

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will celebrate the life and career of Australian-born actor Rod Taylor with a five-film tribute on Thursday, Jan. 29th. Taylor, who passed away Jan. 8th at the age of 84, had a long career which encompassed dozens of iconic films, including “The Time Machine,” “The Train Robbers” and more recently, “Inglorious Basterds.”

The following is the complete schedule for TCM’s tribute to Rod Taylor.

TCM Remembers Rod Taylor – Thursday, Jan. 29th

8 p.m. “The Time Machine” (1960) – based on the 1895 novel of the same name by H. G. Wells.

10:00 p.m. “The Birds” (1963) – starring Tippi Hedren and Suzanne Pleshette.

12:15 a.m. “Sunday in New York” (1963) – starring Jane Fonda and Cliff Robertson.

2:15 a.m. “Young Cassidy” (1965) – starring Julie Christie and Maggie Smith.

4:15 a.m. “The Glass Bottom Boat” (1966) – starring Doris Day and Arthur Godfrey.
