Episode 3 of the new series “Planet Of The Apps” is now available on Apple Music.
The third episode features Elise Graham, the founder of Olivia AI, a personal finance assistant and tracker. Elise teams with Gwyneth who loves the idea, but warns that Lightspeed Venture Partners will be interested in what makes the app’s core artificial intelligence unique. Kemar Newell, the founder of a Flip, an auction-based marketplace for limited edition sneakers, partners with Jessica. While Flip has enjoyed early traction with die-hard sneaker community, Kemar worries it isn’t big enough to attract major investment from Lightspeed. The episode features appearances by Neil Blumenthal, Co-founder, and Co-CEO of Warby Parker, Jeremy Stoppelman, Co-Founder and CEO of Yelp, and Brian Lee, Co-founder of LegalZoom, ShoeDazzle, and The Honest Company.
“Planet Of The Apps” celebrates the world of apps and the talented people who create them. Hosted by Zane Lowe and featuring advisors Jessica Alba (Honest Co.), Gwyneth Paltrow (Goop), Gary Vaynerchuk (VaynerMedia) and will.i.am (i.am+), the series highlights developers who have the vision to shape the future, solve real problems and inspire change within our daily lives. Each episode culminates in a pitch from the founder and their talent advisor to Lightspeed Venture Partners for funding.
“Planet Of The Apps” is co-produced by Apple and Propagate. The 10-episode series debuted on June 6th, with new episodes premiering exclusively on Apple Music every Tuesday at 9pm ET/6pm PT.
