New Line Cinema Sets Major Screening Program For “Going In Style” Across The Heartland Of North America

Union staffers/members and factory workers from Washington, DC to Chicago and Rust Belt cities such as Buffalo, Detroit, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Charleston, West Virginia, as well as retirees and AARP members in markets from Scottsdale, Arizona to the Gold Coast of Florida and beyond, are turning out in droves to attend preview screenings of “Going in Style.” And, these screenings of director Zach Braff’s comedy are proving that you’re never too old to get even.

The new film, opening nationwide on April 7th, stars Oscar winners Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Alan Arkin as lifelong buddies who decide to buck retirement and step off the straight-and-narrow for the first time in their lives when their pension fund becomes a corporate casualty. It’s a story many can relate to, be they retirees, union workers, or pretty much anyone who has felt the pinch of budget cuts, bait-and-switch loans, program changes and diminishing returns.
