“Kangaroo: A Love-Hate Story” Hops Into Theaters January 19

This groundbreaking film reveals the truth surrounding Australia’s love-hate relationship with its beloved icon. The kangaroo ‘image’ is proudly used by top companies, sports teams, and tourist souvenirs, yet as they hop across the vast continent many consider them pests to be shot and sold for profit. “Kangaroo: A Love-Hate Story” unpacks a national paradigm where the relationship with kangaroos is examined.

Featuring interviews with Terri Irwin, Phil Wollen, Tim Flannery, Peter Singer, and Brolga Barns.

Directed by Kate McIntyre Clere (“Yogawoman”) and Mick McIntyre (“Aussie Rules the World”).

Opens in New York & LA January 19th with a nationwide release to follow
