Interview: Producer/Director Roger Ross Williams Talks His Latest Movie, “Life, Animated”

On Friday, July 22nd, “Life, Animated” hits theaters. It is a coming of age story about a boy and his family who overcame great challenges by turning Disney animated movies into a language to express love, loss, kinship and brotherhood. I recently had the opportunity to speak with the film’s director, Roger Ross Williams, where we discussed the movie and the impact its subject matter had on him.
