With the success of his 2013 horror flick “Almost Human,” writer/producer/director Joe Begos is back on the scene with his new sci-fi thriller, “The Mind’s Eye,” a cross between Brian De Palm’s “The Fury” and David Cronenberg’s “Scanners.” I spoke with Joe about his influences, his love of telekinesis, and how “Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood” wasted what could have been a great addition to the series.
