“Girl In The Box” Is Delivered To DVD At Walmart September 26

Based on the true story of one of the most infamous abductions in history, the dark psychological drama, “Girl in the Box,” arrives on DVD at Walmart September 26th from Lionsgate. Addison Timlin stars in this psychological scripted thriller based on the true story of Colleen Stan, an American woman who was kidnapped and held prisoner inside a coffin-sized box for seven years. A compelling and complex story, the “Girl in the Box” DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $14.98.

Based on a true story, “Girl in the Box” is a dark psychological drama. In May 1977, 20-year-old Colleen Stan was kidnapped by a young married couple, Cameron and Janice Hooker. For the next seven years, they kept her locked in a coffin-sized box hidden beneath their bed for up to 23 hours a day. When not imprisoned, Colleen became part of a strange new life as a live-in slave, family child-minder, and victim of Cameron’s bizarre and extreme S&M fantasies.

Starring Addison Timlin Derailed (“That Awkward Moment”), Zane Holtz (“From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series,” “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”) and Zelda Williams (“Dead of Summer,” “The Legend of Korra”).
