“Elaine Paige – I’m Still Here” 50th Anniversary Farewell Concert

WHAT: Opening nationwide from May 12th, ScreenLive is delighted to present a unique and ground-breaking evening in cinemas when the incomparable Elaine Paige (Olivier Award winner, Grammy nominee) brings her sellout 50th Anniversary Farewell Concert “I’m Still Here,” filmed at the Royal Albert Hall, to the big screen across America and Canada. The film is followed by special footage of a live Q&A and an exclusive intimate performance from Elaine captured in London on April 23rd. This promises to be a cinema experience not to be missed!

WHERE: Filmed at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall on October 22nd, 2014, the concert features Elaine Paige, ‘The First Lady of British Musical Theatre’, with the 60 piece BBC Concert Orchestra performing highlights from her extraordinary 50 year career as well as bonus footage of live Q and A.

WHO: Elaine Paige with special guest tenor Gardar Thor Cortes. Elaine Paige is an Olivier Award winner, Grammy nominee, 2 Time Drama Desk nominee and 5 time Olivier Award nominee. Ms Paige was seen giving a critically acclaimed performance in the Broadway revival of “Follies” for which she received a Grammy and Drama Desk nomination. On the West End, she starred as the original Eva Peron (“Evita”), original Grizabella (“Cats”), original Florence (“Chess”), Norma Desmond (“Sunset Blvd”), “Anything Goes,” “The King and I” & “Drowsy Chaperone,” among others. On Broadway/New York, she played Norma Desmond in “Sunset Blvd;” “Sweeney Todd” (Drama Desk nom) & numerous worldwide concert productions. Ms Paige has released 22 solo albums (9 certified gold; 4 multiplatinum). She hosts her own show “Elaine Paige on Sunday” on BBC Radio 2 and was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
