“El Negocio” Returns For Season 3 On HBO Latino August 12

HBO Latino will premiere Season 3 of the original series “El Negocio,” acquired from HBO Latin America, Friday, August 12th, at 10PM/9C, exclusively on HBO Latino. The series follows the lives of three sophisticated women—Karin (played by Rafaela Mandelli), Luna (Juliana Schalch) and Magali (Michelle Batista) – who use sophisticated marketing methods and a business plan to run a highly lucrative high end escorting business. All the seasons of “El Negocio” are available on HBO GO, HBO On Demand and HBO NOW.

Consisting of 13 episodes, Season 3 takes place two years after the businesswomen faced personal and legal issues related to their venture, Blue Ocean. After being publicly traded at the end of Season 2, the company grew and was acquired by a large corporation. Now Karin, Luna and Magali must face the uncertainties resulting from mergers and acquisitions in the world of business.

The women also welcome new characters and face ghosts from the past. Karin experiences turmoil within the company and in her personal life when she tries to start a career as an executive without giving up the lifelong dream of finding true love. Luna and Magali take on a challenge together and individually with their partners, Oscar (Gabriel Godoy) and Zanini (Kauê Teloli).

Season 3 also sees the return of Ariel (Guilherme Weber), Livia (Isabel Wilker), Yuri (Johnnas Oliva) and César (Eduardo Samerjian), among others. And there are new characters heating up the plot, like Mia (Aline Jones), a young and smart woman who is taught to be the best at everything and whose life changes when she starts working with Karin; and Chris Muller (Michel Noher), a farmer of organic products, who falls madly in love with one of the women.

Created by HBO Latin America Originals, “El Negocio” is produced by Luis F. Peraza, Roberto Ríos and Maria Angela de Jesus. Directed by Michel Tikhomiroff from Mixer productions, with some episodes directed by Julia Jordão, and written by Fabio Danesi, Camila Raffanti and Alexandre Soares Silva.
