DVD Review: “Run, Hide, Die” Makes You Want To Run, Hide And Die

[yasr_overall_rating]

Five girls, one secret. Revenge stalks them in the night.

It’s been a year since Addison Davenport’s husband died. On the year anniversary she receives flowers and a note from her mom telling her about a cabin in the woods she can use for the weekend. She gathers her closest friends and they head off. When they stop at a garage to get gas, the attendant makes a call telling someone they’re on the way. When Addison calls her mother, she informs her she didn’t send the flowers or tell her about the cabin and the phone goes dead.

Suddenly a strange figure arrives and starts to torture everyone. She is finally revealed and wants revenge and it’s up to the girls to try and stop her and save their lives.

The characters are uninteresting and annoying and the plot is conventional, lacking any real substance and feels completely soulless. Sometimes you have to wonder how these straight to DVD movies get made.

Available on DVD, VOD & Digital Video September 1st
