Four friends balance their dating adventures with their career ambitions at an upscale magazine, teaching themselves and each other how to get the most out of love and life.

When four female co-workers of an online, upscale magazine all have serious issues within the relationship department, it is the advice column of their snooty boss, Maureen (Cat Deeley) that sets them into a vicious dating challenge to prove to themselves and each other who can handle a real relationship. Meagan Good stars as Gabby, a presumably highly suitable candidate who just can’t seem to afford to fix herself up and find someone to date consistently. She is plagued by a hurtful breakup in the past that she never completely let go. Her circle of influence that consists of three other women and two males in questionable relationships themselves, constantly give her controversial advice about how to go about building a successful relationship.

All bets are on the table when Gabby is challenged to make it to ten dates with the same person. Not only is she eligible to win cash money, but she also gets to keep her job by providing a storyline that her boss, as well as the magazine’s readers will fall in love with. With renewed excitement, Gabby comes up with a plan to up her game and little does she realize that her longtime roadie, Dante (Brandon T. Jackson), who has secretly been in love with her forever, silently wishes he wasn’t her confidant having to listen to every cringe-worthy detail of her dates. The situation almost becomes unbearable when Gabby’s ex Chris (Andra Fuller)comes back into the picture and she starts falling for him all over again. The plot thickens even more when Dante is offered a job out of town and he makes a last ditch effort to capture Gabby’s attention by purchasing all of her artwork and petitioning her to expand her line to an undisclosed person of interest which happens to be him. All bets come off the table when after repeated clashes, Gabby realizes that her Chris hasn’t changed at all and when their relationship ends once again, Dante is right there to pick up the pieces. His declaration of love sweeps Gabby off her feet and together they realize that in the midst of leaning on each other through their roller coaster relationships, they have invariably met the ten-date requirement, making everyone a winner in the end.

The film, which is directed by Nzingha Stewart and produced by Meagan Good, has a great supporting cast which includes Kelly Rowland (Margot), Keri Hilson (Billie), Kellee Stewart (Nell) Christian Keyes and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman. It is a humorous and heartwarming eighty-eight minutes of dating strategies which highlight the best and worse of modern-day relationships. The do’s and don’ts add up to real numbers that are definitely worth taking a look at.

Available on DVD Tuesday, July 18th
