Betty Buckley Talks Her Latest Movie “Split,” Working With M. Night Shyamalan, And “Split 2”

In celebration of M. Night Shyamalan’s latest psychological thriller “Split” coming to Blu-ray, DVD & On Demand April 18th from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, I was given the opportunity to speak with the legendary Betty Buckley, who plays James McAvoy’s psychologist in the film. It’s ironic that her very first role was in Brian De Palma’s 1976 supernatural “Carrie,” and here she is, forty years later, starring in another horror movie for one of today’s most iconic filmmakers. We spoke about her second collaboration with Shyamalan (her first being 2008’s “The Happening”), being inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame, talk of Shyamalan working on a sequel to “Split,” and the release of her new 2 CD Album, “Story Songs.”
