“Baby Driver” Accelerates Back Into Theaters This Weekend

This weekend, audiences will have the chance to hit the road again with “Baby Driver” as the film that became the model for original content this summer returns to theaters nationwide. The film, which has taken in over $100 million domestically, will be available in Dolby Vision and 35mm in select locations.

“As summer draws to a close, we wanted to give audiences a chance to experience ‘Baby Driver’ again on the big screen,” said Adrian Smith, president, Domestic Distribution, for Sony Pictures Releasing. “This is the way that Edgar Wright’s thrilling movie – one of the best-reviewed movies of the summer – is meant to be seen.”

In “Baby Driver,” Baby (Ansel Elgort) is a talented, young getaway driver who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), he sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), Baby must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love, and freedom. Also starring Jon Bernthal, Eiza Gonzalez, with Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx, the film is written and directed by Edgar Wright and produced by Nira Park, Tim Bevan, and Eric Fellner.
