“The Music Man” opens at Artisan Center Theater on Friday May 22nd and runs thru Saturday July 4th. The 196 seat theater-in-the-round is located in the Belaire Plaza at 444 East Pipeline Road, Hurst, TX. Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with 3:00pm matinees on Saturdays 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/4/2015.
Note: there will only be a 3pm matinee on July 4th.
Reserved seats are: $22.00 for adults, $20.00 for students and seniors, and $11.00 for children 12 and under. Monday through Thursday tickets are $20.00. “The Music Man” is a classic, flag-waving, feel-good, American musical comedy, with an interesting twist – Footloose con man sets out to fleece a fictional Iowa town during the early days of the twentieth century, but instead learns a lesson in moral responsibility from the town’s comely librarian. This All American Musical Favorite features songs such as “76 Trombones”, “You Got Trouble”, “Goodnight My Someone”, “Till There Was You”, “The Wells Fargo Wagon”, and many others. What a wonderful lead in to the 4th of July!!!
